Antique Tour Routes

  • As always, call before hand to make sure the antique stores you are planning to visit will be open, and make appointments as necessary.
    Eat breakfast in Marshall. (Try our dining map for suggestions)

    Leave Marshall and drive to Granite Falls

    1st Antique Stop: Prairie Mercantile
    2nd Antique Stop: The Treasure Shop (top floor of the Dollar Stop)
    • Hungry? Stop in at Carl’s Bakery across the street. They serve soup, sandwiches, and Chicken ‘n Dumplings (yum!)
    • Before leaving Granite Falls, stop in at The Village Troll and grab a tasty bar of fudge for the road.

    Leave Granite Falls and drive to Montevideo.

    3rd Antique Shop: Past Reflections
    • If you brought your children along, allow them to burn off energy at the Mansion of Mystery playground directly behind Past Reflections, before heading to Cartwright’s.
    4th Antique Shop: Cartwright’s Antique and Collectibles
    • If your timing is right, usually Tuesdays and Thursdays there is a farmers market in Cartwright’s parking lot. The pies are certainly worth a visit.

    Leave Montevideo and drive to Canby

    5th Antique Shop: Antique Emporium
    6th Antique Shop: Jackie’s Gems, Treasures & More

    Leave Canby and drive to Marshall, MN

    7th  Antique Shop: The Orphanage Antiques

    • While you are in Slayton, check out Read it Again Books and stock up on your winter reading supply.

    Leave Slayton and drive to Pipestone

    2nd  Antique Shop: The Meadowlark Shop and Antiques Gallery
    3rd Antique Shop: Liberty Pawn Coins and Antiques, Inc.
    4th  Antique Shop: Time and Again Antiques and Collectibles
    5th Antique Shop: Everett Antiques
    • Try out the ice cream at Lang's while you are in town.

    Leave Pipestone and head for Lake Benton

    6th  Antique Shop: Burk’s Antiques and Lake Benton Mercantile
    7th  Antique Shop: Prairie Rose Gallery
    8th  Antique Shop: Corner Collection
    9th  Antique Shop: Buffalo Ridge Antique Shop
    • While you are in Lake Benton, grab a soup and/or sandwich at the Buffalo Ridge Trading and Coffee Company.  They have lattes too, and by now, you may need a recharge!

    Leave Lake Benton and drive to Russell

    10th  Antique Shop: Sneek-A-Peek

    Leave Russell and drive to Marshall

    Leave Westbrook and head to Tracy

    • Stop in at the museum in Tracy and check out the old rail cars.

    Leave Tracy and drive to Walnut Grove

    3rd  Antique Shop: Jossie’s Photography, Antiques & Junk with Purpose
    4th  Antique Shop: Fond Memories at the Creamery
    • They have specialty foods there too, so grab something for the road.

    Leave Walnut Grove and drive to Lamberton

    5th  Antique Shop: Lamberton Mainstreet Peddler
    • Across the street is Sanger’s bakery/ice cream parlor.

    Leave Lamberton and drive to Wabasso

    6th  Antique Shop: Net’s Antique Shop
