Laura Ingalls Wilder Pageant

The Wilder Pageant is a family-oriented outdoor drama based on the life of Laura Ingalls Wilder in Walnut Grove, whose writings provided the inspiration for TV's "Little House on the Prairie". It is a live performance each night with all characters from the Walnut Grove area. Laura narrates the story, reflecting on her life in Walnut Grove in the 1870's.

36th Annual Polka Fest

"The Smallest Polka Town in the Nation", hosts this annual two day event, now in its 33rd year. Come see the best polka bands the region has to offer, and dance the day (& night) away! Polka Bands include Dale Dahmen & the Polka Beats, Knight Excitement, Dain Dutchman, George's Concertina Bank, Larry Olson Bank, and the Screaming Cactus. Pursuit of Excellence Marching Band Competition
